A meeting of the full Governing Body is held once every term.  Members are also appointed on to subcommittees. These meetings are also held once during the term.

The Governing Body produce an Annual Report that is distributed to parents and staff.

Dyffryn Taf School were very proud when the Chairman Mr Robert Elward and Mrs Heather Jenkins, Principal Officer and Clerk to the Governing Body received the Quality Mark Award at the Regional Conference for School Governors on the 18th October held at Margam Park, with only two Secondary Schools in Carmarthenshire receiving the Award.
