2006 Dyffryn Taf School

Information : Admissions

Dyffryn Taf School works closely with its numerous feeder Primary Schools to make the process of transition from Year 6 to Year 7 as easy as possible.  All the relevant paperwork is issued to parents well in advance via the Primary School.

Parents of pupils moving into the catchment area and wishing to attend the school will need to contact the school to arrange an appointment with the relevant Head of Year. This can be done by contacting the school reception on 01994 242100.

Transport
The responsibility for home to school transport for eligible pupils lies within the remit of Carmarthenshire County Council and provision is made in accordance with the Council’s well established policy in this area.  Copies of the policy can be obtained through the school.  If a child’s parents are unsure whether or not their child will qualify for free school transport, confirmation can be sought by writing to the Transport and Engineering Division, Technical Services Department, Carmarthenshire County Council, Llanstephan Road, Johnstown, Carmarthen SA31 3LZ.
