School uniform is compulsory and contributes towards a neat and tidy appearance. This is a source of pride and identification and encourages sensible behaviour. Denim jackets or jeans are not allowed under any circumstances. Proper outdoor shoes are to be worn to and from school and during the day. Trainers are to be worn in PE lessons only. No jewellery is allowed. One pair of single studs is permitted when pupils have pierced ears. No make up is allowed, neither is body piercing.
Boys – Light blue, long-sleeved, cotton/polyester shirt; Clip-on school tie; Tailored dark grey trousers; Navy, V-neck jumper with school badge; Black leather shoes (not canvas or trainer type shoe – eg Vans/Converse).
Girls – Light blue, long-sleeved, cotton/polyester blouse; Clip-on school tie; Tailored dark grey skirt/trousers – skirts should be of a reasonable length, finishing close to the knee (not made of stretchy material); Navy, V-neck jumper with school badge; Navy tights/navy socks; Black leather shoes (not canvas or trainer type shoe – eg Vans/Converse).
Coats for all pupils must be dark (plain with no motifs). Sweatshirts and hooded tops are not allowed.
In the Summer Term lower and middle school pupils are allowed to wear Navy Polo Shirts with the school badge.
All garments should be clearly marked with the owner’s name.
