Community

Dyffryn Taf School is part of the Carmarthenshire Community Focused Schools Initiative.

The definition that is given by the National Assembly for Wales is:

“A Community Focused School is one that provides a range of services and activities, often beyond the school day, to help meet the needs of its pupils, their families and the wider community” 

By working with a range of different partners Dyffryn Taf are developing the range of activities and services available to pupils and the wider community.
